 1. How do I make it known that I would like to transfer to another building? Another position?

You must get a “Declaration of Interest” card from your school office, Human Resources, or from the AEA

 2. If I want to resign from my position how much notice must I give?

You must give 60 days notice. (calendar days NOT work days).

 3. When must I notify the district once I decide to retire?

You must notify the district by March 1 of the school year in which you wish to retire.

 4. What are the benefits of being a member?
